Friday, August 29th was Michael Jackson’s birthday. And, you know me. I’ll always take the opportunity to squeeze something about MJ onto this site.

Here’s one of my favorite tunes of his from his Jackson 5 days:

    Dear Wendy Jane,

Hi, there, Wendy Jane! Wow, what a heartfelt and wonderfully loving and caring tribute in which you have made of our dear Michael Jackson and what would have been his 56th birthday! My special and precious white sister, I love how you love him so! I so enjoyed seeing those clips of him when he was a lot younger and a lot of those I had not before seen. What a cool and a great song and what wonderful clips and fabulous and fantastic singing by our Michael! What a wonderful way to start my day with this marvelous tribute of yours, my dear and precious friend and sister, Wendy Jane!

I so love, cherish, and appreciate how you love, care for, and cherish all of us as black people, and how you love black culture in general, music, entertainment, education, and our health and well being! You have such a dearest and darling and sweet heart for all of us as black people which is very caring, sensitive, and very sincere! This means so, so very much to me, Wendy Jane!
I am so, so glad I found you my sister and your splendid blog post website!

I SO look forward in eager anticipation for more of your brilliant and powerful blog post articles and other very fine and excellent writings! I am going to look through more of your super archives as well, Wendy Jane! Please have a very nice, special, fun, and a relaxing Sunday my dear, precious, and special white sisterfriend who you are so, so very much as an ally and in solidarity, Wendy Jane!

    Very Warmly and Sincerely Always,

Your lesbian black friend and sister in solidarity, Sherry Gordon
